Yes, we played Hungry Hippos at the AGM.
The game — built by our Scouts last term as a community project and scaled up to approximately carpet size — was brought in after the formal business concluded. The formal business lasted forty-five minutes. The Hungry Hippos lasted three hours.
The trustees won. This is definitely not suspicious. There were no rule changes during play. The scorekeeper was entirely impartial.
Other items from the AGM:
- Accounts approved (surplus of £340, which is basically a miracle)
- Theresa re-elected as Treasurer despite her very best efforts to retire
- New fundraising sub-committee formed
- Several people said they’d help with the summer fair and we’re holding them to it
